Se credete sia un pesce d'aprile siete un pesce fuor d'acqua.
Nato ad Affi, vissuto sul lago di Garda per oltre 44 anni.
Cosa è successo nel luogo dove sono nato dal 1953 ad oggi?
Non esistono più i campi di frumento, di granturco, le viti ed i campi dove da piccolo scorazzavo sognando benessere, automobili e tutto quanto i bimbi sognano.
L'area è un grande centro commerciale colmo di beni di consumo, di persone e società che hanno investito energia e denaro per incrementare l'economia, anche del comune di Affi.
Affi è un piccolo centro che ha saputo rispettare senza deturpare il vecchio centro storico; ogni anno si celebra la bellissima festa medievale.
Il paesello, che conta poco più di 2.000 anime (numero irrisorio per poter fare qualsiasi intelligente richiesta alla regione Veneto), è situato all'uscita autostradale del Brennero, nodo importantissimo per collegare il Lago di Garda e, dal nord Italia, i parchi del Garda.
Che bello potersi approvvigionare degli articoli utili ogni momento della settimana: dal cibo, agli attrezzi per gli hobbies per sistemare giardino, abitazione, andare con tutta la famiglia, in special modo la domenica (gli altri giorni tutti presi dal lavoro, dalla scuola... è impossibile andare insieme).
Passeggiando si ascoltano accenti dalle regioni della bassa Padania, del Trentino; tutti clienti che solo alla domenica potevano spostarsi insieme alle famiglie per fare acquisti e incrementare le casse degli esercenti.
Spesso ho sentito frasi quali: "Andiamo sul Garda dato che siamo venuti qui a fare la spesa?"
Quando abitavo sul lago di Garda non ho mai sentito nessuno dire "Andiamo all'IperAffi dato che siamo qui a predere il sole?"
Improvvisamente con la Legge regionale 28 dicembre 1999, n. 62 (BUR n. 113/1999) Affi viene depennato da comune ad economia prevalentemente turistica.
Così centinaia di addetti vengono licenziati, nelle casse c'è un calo pauroso di oltre il 30% sugli incassi, i commercianti non sono in grado di pianificare gli investimenti....
Le gabelle di questo provvedimento sono esasperanti se si vuole leggerle in modo completo.
Non mi lamento; se alla domenica finisco il burro farò una pedalata fino al lago... fa anche bene al fisico. Li troverò aperto. Si certo lo so: solo d'estate.
Farò fatica a trovare il burro ma troverò tantissimi negozietti con vestiti che non sono in vendita all'IperAffi, non troverò aperto il negozio che mi ripara la TV perché s'è spenta la domenica, non troverò aperto il meccanico perché mi s'è bloccata l'autovettura, ne' tantomeno il gommista e così via. Zona turistica dovrebbero collaborare tutti gli esercenti per fornire il FULL SERVICE ai visitatori.
Ma è questo il servizio al turismo?
Ad Affi invece funziona l'attività del soccorso auto anche di domenica. Vanno anche al lago di Garda a soccorrere chi rimane in panne.
Come sono aperte le attività non indispensabili, credo che i turisti della domenica, quelli che gli esercenti del lago di Garda, a torto, temono vengano "rubati" dal centro commerciale di Affi, abbiano bisogno di trovare TUTTI i servizi funzionanti... o no?
In Lombardia non esistono affanni inutili; i centri commerciali sono aperti sia in zone turistiche che altre, storiche o meno.
Mi chiedo: "Si vuole dare una spinta all'economia e si fiacca un pool di esercenti che desiderano lavorare."
In questa legge regionale sono state scritte righe e righe di norme... tanto che non so più in che categoria porre Affi....
Era meglio scrivere: "Tenere aperto un minimo di ore giornaliere ed impegnarsi a tenere in regola i dipendenti.
Gli esercenti del lago si impegnino a pubblicizzare il Garda negli spazi del centro commerciale e creino dei trasporti gratuiti per evitare l'inutile intasamento di autovetture sulla Gardesana orientale".
Cari responsabili del centro commerciale IperAffi, che aspettate a togliere dai vostri negozi tutte le riviste, gli oggetti e la pubblicità del lago di Garda?
Promuovete Mantova, Riva, Valpolicella e via di seguito come vi fa comodo.

If you think this is a joke you're out of reality.
Born in Affi, I lived on the lake of Garda for over 44 years.
What happened to the place where I was born from 1953 until today?
The fields of wheat, of corn doesn't exist anymore, the grapevines and the fields where when I was a little child I used to run, dream comfort, cars and everything the babies dream.
The area is a great shopping center of goods of consumption, of people and society that have invested energy and money to increase the economy, also of the Affi town.
Affi is a small center that respect without defacing the old historical center; every year there is celebrated the beautiful medieval party.
The little city, that counts only 2.000 souls (a small number to be able to ask any intelligent application to the Veneto region), is situated to the motorway exit of the Brennero, important knot that connect the Lake of Garda and, from the north of Italy, the parks of the Garda region.
How beautiful was to go and buy some useful articles every moment of the week: from the food, to the utensils for the hobbieses to set the garden, residence, and go with the whole family, special on Sunday (the other days all busy for the job, school... it is impossible to go together.
Taking a walk you can hear accents from the regions of the Padania lowland, of the Trentino; all customers who only on Sunday could go with to wholle family in order to purchase and increasing the income of the shopkeepers.
A lot of time I hear phrases like: "Why don't we go to the Lake of Garda since we have come here to make shopping?"
When I lived on the lake of Garda I never hear someone say " Why don't we go at IperAffi since we are here bath on the sun? "
Suddenly the regional Law of the 28th Decembers 1999, n. 62 (BUR n. 113/1999) Affi was strike of the list of tourist economy.
Hundreds of employees were fired, the income decrease more than 30%, the traders are not anymore in a position to planning the future investments….
This provision is exasperating if you read it all.
I do not complain myself; if on Sunday I finish the butter I will ride till the lake … it is beneficial for my body too. I will find the shops open. Of course only on summer time.
It will be hard to find the butter but I will find a lot of little shops plenty of garments that are not on sale at IperAffi; anyway the store that reapair the TV will not be open on Sunday and not will be open the mechanic when my car is broken down, neither the tyre centre and so on.
Is it this the service for the tourism?
As are open the absolutely not necessary activities, I think that the tourists of Sunday, those which the shopkeepers of the lake of Garda, twisted, fear that the tourists will be " stolen" from the center of Affi trades, need to find ALL the services working… or do they not?
In Lombardy useless rules do not exist; the centers trade are open in tourist areas and in others, historical or not.
I ask myself: "All ask for improve the weak economy and a pool of shopkeepers who wish to work are stopped to do it.
In this regional law someone wrote lines and lines of norms… that I do not know where to put the category of Affi town.
Better write: "Keep the shops open a minimum of hour every day and keep paying the employees.
The shopkeepers of the lake of Garda engage themselves to advertise the Garda in the spaces into the shopping center and planning free transports in order to avoid the useless traffic jam on the Gardesana way.
Dear managers of the IperAffi, what are you waiting for to remove from your stores all the reviews, the objects and the publicity of the lake of Garda?
Promote Mantova, Riva, Valpolicella and so on like it is comfortable for you all.
